Our vision

Our vision.

Less traffic.
More connected. Clustered.

10B People cannot drive alone.

The world population is too dense to any roads system in the world. Even the biggest and the most modern cities, like Tokyo and New York. Connecting different clusters of individual is not a question if go or no go, it's the only way to survive.

Shuttles.

Ride together with your private car luxus.

Inter-organizational.

Intel and CNN. Same transit. Less transportation cost.

Auto scaled.

Every vendor can join. More demand more routes.

And how not? AI.

Involving deep learning algorithms to help.

Get used to it. This is the future.

This paper was written by Raz Buchnik, Connect's Co-Founder and CEO.

When I was a kid, during the summer vacation, when me and my friends wanted to go to the beach, we took a bus. I had been sitting in the bus station, and thanks for the bus late I could notice that every vehicle passing by us is "empty + 1". That means that only the driver is in the car, and no body else. Think about it, a full heavy and a pollutant vehicle, with 5 doors and strong engine, with a huge physical potential to carry like 30 people or even 50, carries only a single person. This must be the king of England, isn't he?

Well, this ain't the king. This probably can be you as well. But why that someone will pay so much for an expensive vehicle and all of the things that need to be done in order to hold the car, driving in high traffic, angry and eventually getting at work very tired? Because there was no option. And still, today, when writing this paper on 07.06.2023 08:00, Israeli Standard Time, there still not exists any reliable option to transit between places efficiently.

We have advanced technology. We have AI in hand. We can do so many things like flying from Tel Aviv to New York on the same day. But this tiny issue of getting to work at morning, getting to stadium to watch champions league or just drop the kids at school, are unsolved. We have technology but we don't use it to share the resources. Remember that one vehicle has the physical strengh to carry up to 50 people, but actually carries 1 ( f(x) = 50x, that's bad! ).

Because we all love math, especially when our job is to build complex ML models built on mathematical algorithms, why not that we will take them to solve these problems? First we should understand what the problem is. Or even better, start with what the isn't the problem. The problem is not about money - people spend alot to buy and handle private cars.
The problem is that the demands are constantly changing - one employee is not every morning gets to work - sometimes he may be going to the noon's shift or the night shift and some other employee maybe just working from home this morning. Times the amount of workers, the amount of organizations' headcarters, the amount of geographical roads and get an unpredictable results to organize. I mean, it's so dynamic and so changing that even if they shout out that they want to ride together, there is not a single and flexible platform to manage this.

That's where Connect comes to handy. We live transportation. We live technology. We connect both. We connect multiple organizations that can go to work together and thus making the solution reliable every day - even if Josh is working from his home today and we may get not enough people to join the ride. Since we collaborate many units together, we always have demand. We construct the demand - belive me it's a realy engineer scienece.

The science behind it starts of course, with mathematics as ML and DL algorithms are built on top of it. But set it a side for a moment. AI is not the source of truth as everyone says these days. Trust me. The source of truth is great people that never quit. That's it. We will use AI, we will use technology but the win will become since we never quit.

We developed a very simple to use platform as a service (Paas) allowing multiple organizations to connect together and get to work together - based on preconfigurations and permission they defined. We allow private people to get to stadiums without knowing each other. We connect different transportation companies behind the scenes to answer realy big and changing demands.

What does it mean that we connect different transporation companies to work together? How does it help? Guys belive me, the problem is much deeper. If you eventually found a way to put many different individuals on the same ride, it doesn't mean that you have an answer of how to travel them. In order to answer so undeterministic demands, you have to connect the supply chain as well. And that's the key of success that Connect brings to the table.

That was long paper of vision. But just the beginning. I will sum it shortly that Connect is connecting people to work together in the modern and technological world.
